Veganism, tobacco & alcohol use? All compatible? - 2005/06/10 23:26
I have a neice who for several months has demonstrated a committment to veganism and after her dissappearance for several months, we all learned to play it a bit cool because of the changes she had made. The differences were dramatic. My neice has been away a few months and we were all surprosed to see her. At age 21, she certainly has no baby fat remaining. Don`t think you pinch an inch of fat at all anywhere on her, and her breasts were almost nonexistant. She was much skinnier than we had ever seen her before and since that last visit before, she had taken up new personal habbits we didn`t understand. Since we know tobacco and alcohol are not good for the body, their frequent use seemed out of character. I also wondered if there was other drug use going on as well, but had no way to introduce that unhappy element. I was under the assumption one restricts their diet to improve their health. Smoking (the various stuff she has smoked), and the drinking surprised us as believe this vegianism was an almost "Holy Quest" to clean the body, spirit, and the sole. I have realized there is a great deal of variability in the ranks of Veganism and they are the ones who have to work this out for themselves.
