Veg*n = ? - 2005/06/10 13:46
I was hoping that somebody could answer a trivia question for me. Why does one often see the spelling "veg*n", especially on the net? I`ve not been able to find any explanation anywhere, on or off the net, but my guess is that it`s a shorthand way of writing *both* vegetarian and vegan -- that is, veg*n = vegetarian/vegan. Is this correct? Thanks.
