50g / 2 oz creamed coconut

300 ml / half pint boiling water

225g / 8 oz self raising flour

15 ml / 1 tsp. baking powder

pinch of salt

40g/1 1/2 oz cocoa powder

115g / 4 oz soft brown sugar

60 ml / 4 tsp. sunflower oil

175g / 6 oz dark chocolate

A funny thing happened today ... ... a friend took me off to donate blood. Sat around (awful lot of people there), got taken for my iron-test sample, no surprise, it sank like a brick - never had an iron problem, don`t expect to, but if I was ever going to, it would have been now, at the tail end of being vegan for Lent.
