You've sometimes stated that recipes you submit are taken from various published cookbooks. I would like to ask you, therefore, if you could show some respect towards the authors/creators of these recipes by including their source, ie, author's name, book name, etc.

I've switched to a vegan diet, and would love some input on some vegan websites with good recipes, or a recommendation for a good vegan cookbook.
I have a few vegetarian cookbooks, but so many recipes have eggs and dairy.

Hi. I am thinking of becoming vegetarian for lent, that is 40 days. At the end of this on Easter, my grandmother will make a delicious turkey dinner which I want to eat. Don't be mad.
Anyway, basically I am doing this for lent to test myself but my question is, because I will go 40 days without meat (still dairy tho), will I get sick eating the turkey at easter?
Im a newbie......where do I start?

Thanks for reading.....
I decided about four days ago to become a vegetarian. Partly because I have never really liked alot of meat...finding myself eating the outer edges of a burger and trying to find the flatest, thinest piece of chicken as to not get the full flavor. I have never liked seafood or pork. I dont know where to start. Its easy to think **hmm, I just dont eat meat anymore**..

I am wondering if anyone can offer me some suggestions for good British vegetarian cookbooks. I am a "meat and potatoes" vegetarian who likes good hearty food. Food with substance. Are there any British cookbooks that offer a vegetarian alternative to the traditional hearty foods of the United Kingdom?
Thanks for any suggestions.
